Arc de Triomphe III, Project for Paris

We worked with the artist and his wife Jeanne-Claude for over 35 years. In 2021, the last project was realized posthumously: the wrapping of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. The project was a special request from Christo: a tribute to Paris, the city where he and Jeanne-Claude met in the late 1950s and where they took their first artistic steps. The wrapping of the Arc de Triomphe was breathtaking. The architecture was alienated and transformed by the fabric into a fifty-metre-high sculpture that appeared weightless and sublime.

With Christo and his estate, we have published the only authorized, limited edition prints of the project. In addition to the new special edition, which will be published on the occasion of the major museum exhibition in cooperation with the Düsseldorf Kunstpalast (September 2022), this is the last available limited edition print among Christo's authorized prints on the Paris project. Only a few copies still available!
